At PartsHub Canada, our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. We have established a straightforward return policy to assist you if your order does not meet your expectations.

Returns & Exchanges

Products may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date as indicated by the tracking information. Beyond this period, exchanges are only permitted for warranty purposes and are subject to verification by our professional team. A 20% restocking fee applies to all unused items that are returned. If an item is received damaged, we will replace it with a new one. Furthermore, if a second replacement item is also damaged, you are entitled to a full refund. This policy is designed to ensure a hassle-free resolution and to assist you in the repair of your vehicle.

Reporting Damaged Items or Fitment Issues

Should you have any concerns with the products received, including defects, damages, or if the items are incorrect, we encourage you to contact our customer service team immediately. To assist us in resolving your issue promptly, please provide photographs of the item in question, any identifying markers, and the condition of the packaging upon arrival.

Upon reviewing your claim, we will send out a replacement part and furnish you with a prepaid label to facilitate the return of the defective item. Please ensure that the product(s) are returned to our warehouse within a 30-day window.

In cases where damage is attributable to the courier service, our warehouse management team will determine the appropriate course of action, which may include arranging for the damaged product to be picked up or disposed of. In either scenario, photographic evidence of the original shipping container is essential.

If you require a replacement part before returning the original merchandise, our policy is to secure a temporary authorization on your credit card until we receive the original item back.

For fitment issues, we ask that you provide detailed photographs to demonstrate the specific problems encountered. A replacement part will be dispatched promptly. The management of the original part, whether it is to be returned or discarded, will be decided by our warehouse managers.

Understanding Your Refund: Process Explained

When a return is initiated, certain costs associated with the initial purchase are non-refundable. These include the initial shipping cost to deliver the item to you, and the shipping cost you incur to send the item back to us.

Let's look at a practical example. If you purchase a product for $200 with a shipping fee of $30 and a 12% tax rate applicable in BC, your total comes to $257.60. Should you decide to return the item, a 20% restocking fee is applied to the product price, which in this case amounts to $40. Additionally, as the customer is responsible for the return shipping, this would be an extra cost borne by you.

Here's how the refund amount is calculated:

  • Original product cost: $200
  • Original shipping cost: $30
  • Restocking fee (20% of product cost): $40
  • Return shipping cost: $30
  • Total cost retained by PartsHub Canada: ($30 + $30 + $40) x 12% = $112
  • Total refund to the customer: $145.60

The refund of $145.60 is the original total minus the costs retained by us ($257.60 - $112).

Please be aware that we cannot initiate the refund process until the returned product arrives back at our warehouse, is inspected, and processed. This is to ensure that the product is in its original condition and meets our return criteria.

It's important to note that while we strive to keep additional costs as low as possible, these fees are necessary to cover the logistics of the return process. Our goal is always to provide quality products that meet your needs, and we hope returns are infrequent. However, should you need to return an item, we are committed to ensuring that the process is clear and fair.

Order Cancellations

We understand that situations change and you may need to cancel an order. If this occurs, please notify us as quickly as possible through our phone line 1-888-377-5454. Canceling an order involves several steps, including communication with our warehouse, removal from logistical planning, and potential interception at the shipping stage. Due to these complexities, we advise against purchasing alternative products until your cancellation is confirmed. A full credit will be issued for orders cancelled prior to taking them off the shelf. If the order has already been package and prepared for shipping or has shipped out already, you will be responsible for the shipping costs to and from your location and a 20% restocking fee.

Non-Returnable Products & Services

Please note, certain products are non-returnable/exchangeable due to the manufacturer's policies or because they have been customized to order. This includes any items that are marked, used, damaged by the customer, painted, custom-modified, or classified as non-returnable.

 

Stolen or Lost items Once Delivered.

once a package is delivered, it is on the property owners responsablity to keep it safe. if something is stolen off your porch or apartment lobby, this is not something that we have control over. We do not resend items once they're missing after final delivery is complete. That responsiblity falls on the buyer. - if this is a concern. Please send to a local UPS, LOOMIS, or fedex location for final pickup.

 

Refunds & Credits

Upon processing your valid return, we will issue a refund through the same payment method used for the purchase. The refund will reflect the original purchase price minus any shipping fees incurred. You will receive email confirmation once the return is processed. Allow 5-7 days for the credit to post to your account.

Please understand that PartsHub Canada does not cover labor charges or installation fees, nor can we reimburse for damages incurred during installation or use of a product.
